Default Soon to be new owner - Hola!

Just stopping in to be connected. Made an offer on a Conv Cat this evening, getting an agreement and processing as a buy it now. Sending Payment Monday. Bought a 1990 - yes, not the best years from what I have read, but well serviced and updated. I think it will be a great driver to play with. Has had lots of updates and corrections for known issues. Red with black interior. Will ad pics, etc once deal is finalized.

Hope this sites keeps me rolling and enjoying.

welcome aboard and look forward to the pictures! Nothing wrong with a 1990! make sure you get a copy of Kirby's Tome and the Service manuals from Jaguar Heritage, between this forum and the other two you'll find answers to most things.

Welcome.

Red, with a leaper, and I assume a V12??. must be, your up there?.

You sir, will go far.

They are super reliable (once sorted) and very easy to live with, and always remember, they are female, do the maths, it works.

Thank you for the attaboys I feel I bought a nice one. Extremely well sorted and I think under valued by the seller. Yes, a V12 by the way.

A Boeing engineer as well as an Englishman with an affinity towards Jag preservation purchased the car from a colleagues estate a few years ago and has spent that time making the car nearly 100%. Only the cruise has been left un-repaired for now. I feel with his knowledge, attention to detail, the conversation about the car as well as two Videos showing its condition and pictures, that I may have found an eBay anomaly. The list of things done, accounted for and improved is staggering. All receipts for work, parts and his notes are in route to me to document the vehicle as presented.

We shall see. I may not receive it for a few weeks. I want to fly out and drive back, but I may have to let a shipper get it. I prefer to drive. I have owned 100's of cars. I prefer to drive and sell. I mainly deal in BMW's. I sold my e28 recently to fund a new home purchase. Having settled in, I realizes I am not getting any younger and I need to experience the purr of a V12. I am not afraid to take the plunge and this little kitty may be the perfect match!
