Default Stupid idea

so we are going to see the total Solar Eclipse....
might be fun and Noteworthy to drive the Tail of the dragon during the eclipse...
https://roadtrippers.com/stories/tail-of-the-dragon
it would have to be North west to south east path... and it might take more time that the Eclipse last... 11 miles 318 turns...
large elevation changes...

low beams on and FOGS and I would even add corning lights...

Wife might Veto... as I should stay with her and the four daughters...

it will most likely be like a slow parade thru there ... with every one lined up at the entrance... waiting to totality ... and a nice progression through so you can say you drove the dragon during the eclipse... ( or bikers "Rode" the dragon during the eclipse )

I will contact the main shop and see if that is what they are doing

Have you been there? I was up there two weeks ago and I gotta tell you it's beautiful! Unbelievable! Terrifying! Awesome in the same way a tornado or a tsunami is. Quite a beautiful region in general.

If you decide to go, I suggest you go through the whole damn car and then have someone else check behind you. It's no joke.

I'm very far away. it is about an 8 1/4 hour drive 500 miles or so...
I will have a van full of my family to go see the solar eclipse in totality.
I sadly do not see how I could bring the Jaguar this time...
It is on my bucket list though...
If things go really right and we can take two cars ( we have done that, the Van as the people mover support vehicle ) the 92 I have on has the two seats.
Please,
tell me about your drive of the dragon...
