Tail Light Head Scatcher

My friend Pete from the UK has a 94 XJS V12 convertable. all the lights work accept the two tail lights in the trunk lid. Reverse lights work,and L.plate lights work fine. Any feedback would be great...Thanks

If I recall my 93xjs that light is your rear fog lights and it is controlled by a switch to the left of the clock on the dash.
