thinking about buying 88 xjs

How hard are these cars to work on? I found a nice looking one for 6-7 k. Going to look at it tomorrow anything I should look out for? Has less than 85,000 on it.

There's lots to look for, yes.

In the "How To' sticky thread at the top of this section is a buyers guide that covers some of the basics. I suggest reading it then post any more specific questions

1. sage advice already from Doug
2. post pics
3. drive it for at least half an hour and check for any signs of overheating
4. try not to fall in love and be prepared to walk away
