I've attached a picture, online parts catalog says its a temp sensor, but there is a temp sensor beside it and another plugin one on the other side to right near the air temp sensor. Can someone here give me a hint as to why there are 3 sensors (I know the single prong one feeds the gauge inside the car) the other two? why are there two? I'm referring to the green one in this photo, I know what the blue was for.

 

There's one for the fuel injection ECU and one for the Marelli ECU....assuming you have Marelli.

And the single terminal sensor for the dash gauge, as you mentioned.

Any others are likely for an emissions-related gizmos.

Do you happen to know which side is which? I replaced the driver-side one, and the single prong but not the green one pictured there.

 

The one on the left is for the fuel injection ECU.
