I too have reduced from 9 Jags to our 2 S Types, and letting the 4 V12's go was a sad day indeed.

I think l have the answer to the cruise control.
There is a small white plastic washer on the control rod that goes to the bellows. this goes wrong. Couple of bucks from Terrys....

I have a new srt8 challenger sitting under a car cover outside while the xjs is sitting inside the garage...

 

well it looks like today is the day the auction ends-my reserve of 3100 was met. A new owner should be enjoying this car, auction is ending in 6 hours from now. sad to see this xjs go but I just have no room with another car coming out of the resto shop in April. I just wanted to thank everyone here for all there help and information over the past couple of years.

I'm the one who won the auction. So I guess the car will stay in WI next to my '94 XJS.

 

well it looks like this will be up for sale again..no idea why people bid then win and then do not answer emails or answer there phones. I just can not leave this sit for a year, such a nice car with way too many projects to finish this year and no time to drive this.

 

Where will you be advertising the car ? Can you provide a link ? thanks.

Why can it not be driven to its' new home ? Inquiring minds and all.

 

the new owner if they wish can do what ever they want to-my advise was to trailer this car home.

 

Just lowered the car price reserve below 3 grand..who would have thought you could own one of these for that kind of money. If it doesn't sell for that it was meant to be put in storage.

 

Car was sold and the new owner....Car was shipped back to the mother land shipped back to the uk..how cool is that.
