'91 XJS coupe, rear defrost button and dashboard indicator light up when engaged, but no defrosting happening. Can I assume the fuse is good because of this? Anyone know how the wiring is routed, what next to check, etc.?

My car has the exact same issue; from what I've heard a relay may be the problem. I hope others will weigh in on this. Here in humid south Alabama, the rear defog comes in handy during muggy summer mornings and evenings.
