Cool car, but I think the $25,900 "buy it now" price is pretty outrageous. The thing has 107,000 miles on it.

If this car can't get $25k, I think it would say a lot about the current demand and collectability of the XJS. This forum always has some people thinking that the XJS is now rising in price or demand.

If there ever was an XJS to collect, I'd say this was the one.

I for one agree that it will not sell quickly. Some parts for this engine are unique and would be difficult, if not entirely impossible to find anymore.

Beautiful but probably too much $$$$

There was a black one around about 6 months ago with about half the mileage that went for sub $20k

Default Worked at JaguarSort

I worked at JaguarSport as the Electrical Engineer, it was a real pain packaging the Zytec ECU but in the end I got it to fit.
If I was rich I would buy this car but I would try and get it for under $25,000; I can but dream!

I can attest to this from a local SoBay young physician acquaintance who inherited from his father a beautiful '93 (the last production year) red coupe, with low miles. It ran fine for a while, we even showed our XJS' together here at the RB pier, then something happened with the electronics, the car was down while he was looking for help with the one-of-a-kind ECU (Zytec) and with a no-pass smog issue. He eventually resolved the ECU issue, but the smog problem was not related and has become a big issue, such that he wound up re-newing as "non-operational", so he can't go on the street with it until he gets that resolved. He's not mechanically inclined, which I see as a problem, especially when owning a V12 Jaguar and, worse yet, an XJR-S...
