Default Ugly cracks on exhaust manifold of AJ16 XJS

For a while now I have been fighting codes P0420 and P0430, and now poor fuel consumption. My friends on this and the other forum have been suggesting leaks in tyhe exhaust manifolds for some time. I have had two different mechanics check and both asid no. I guess they never bothered to remove the heatshield and assumed all was well because there was no noise. This weekend after a lot of WD40 and bloody hands, I managed to remove that heat shield, that clearly no one else bothered to take out. This is what I found:

No wonder I have the codes and no wonder my fuel consumption has gone down the tubes.

I put some temporary exhaust putty on it while I find new parts.

Unfortunately the ECU seems hung up on the 47 LTFT numbers and wont come back down. When I tried one of my replacemtn ECU's it got both numbers down to 0.0
