Default Use for Old Analog Phone Antenna?

My '91 XJ-S 5.3 V12 originally had an analog mobile phone installed, now long gone. However, the rear window induction antenna mount and wiring is still in place. Before I go ahead and remove it all, can anyone suggest a use for it? Could it help boost my
Android phone signal? Improve my FM radio reception? My standard electric radio antenna works fine but doesn't seem to pull in many stations.

Thanks,

Ian

It can help the reception of radio waves inside the car if you otherwise have a problem. Look up "passive repeater" or "wave guide" for the theory behind it.
