Default Vacuum system replacement

Currently rebuilding a v12 HE with UK emissions kit. now onto the vacuum part of the rebuild and simplify if possible.

Current vacuum scheme as follows:

Connection from fuel pressure regulators to end of intake manifolds
Connection from vacuum advance to port underneath manifold butterfly (should there be a delay valve inline?)
Connection from full throttle switch to end of intake manifold
Connection to ECU from rear balance pipe.

Can I get away without fitting the startup vacuum solenoids? Also should a vacuum dump valve be fitted with the vacuum advance?

Bought the engine with all the bits but the vacuum hoses had been attacked by animals, have found a few diagrams online but they all seem to be slightly different.

Any comments or ideas on my intended setup would be appreciated.

Depends on which model year you have. HE models also differ along the lines...

I am assuming this is a pre facelift V12 HE:

Connection from full throttle switch to end of intake manifold essential
Connection to ECU from rear balance pipe.essential

Can I get away without fitting the startup vacuum solenoids? What do you mean by startup vacuum solenoids?

Also should a vacuum dump valve be fitted with the vacuum advance? Not needed with the setup you describe above
My car is set up just as you describe above. This is a simplification of the OEM setup and far better and more reliable. I also recommend you disable the 15 minute enrichment timer. To do this just pull the two leads off the thermostatic switch on the A bank rear water manifold and insulate them and tie them back somewhere safe.
