Default Weatherstrip at hood to firewall

Hi all,
My 1986 XJ-S is in need of a new piece of weatherstrip across the engine compartment. I was hoping to find a quality aftermarket product that I could cut to length. So far I have not found a shape that closely matches the original. If you know of a source I would be grateful.
Cheers to all,
Brent

Specifically the piece across the engine compartment above the hood/bonnet latch cable and latches.

I replaced both front and rear with generic boot seal. My local store had a few different sizes and they cut me a couple of samples so I could test fit.

This is what I bought

Like Warren.

Fitch the Rubber Man, has ALL sorts.

You need to come downunder with an empty suitcase.

Those bonnet seals are the same profile as the boot seals of all the Series Jags, and there would be hundreds of them, and that style of seal, in your area for sure.

My X300 has the same seal profile on the bonnet, so maybe even the XJ40 would match.

That strip is not made moulded to the contours of the metal lip. It is straight and just goes to shape when fitted. D Manners and all the usual suppliers have them in the correct length, but as all the above say, just about any generic strip will fit.

Thank you gentleman. It seems I have many sources. I just need to get out more.
