Weird brake line part on my 95 XJS
I have a brake line part that no one seems to know what it is..
On the passenger side inner wheel well under the Power Steering reservoir is a hard brake line running to the outer wheel well where the rubber line connects with it. Just before it exits the engine compartment there is a coupler that is leaking (coupler is probably 2.5" long and .75" in diameter, it has a rubber o ring in the middle of it and is set in a clip type of deal on the inner wheel well directly underneath the power steering reservoir...) Anyone have any clue what it is? JEPC does not show it, JagBits has no clue... and I cant find nary a mention about it anywhere on the innerwebs.
I have a 95 XJS with the 4.0 6 Cylinder.

Officially called a pressure delay valve. Jag part number MHF5818AB. I replaced one a long time ago for leaking brake fluid. Its function is to delay the actuation of the rear brake pads. I think it is strange since the rear brakes are hardly used on XJS's anyway.
thanks, I figured it out with JagBits.com and replaced it.. Funny its located under the hood but listed on the rear brake parts schematic.
