Purchased a Mirrelli Rotor and Distributor Cap. I want to carry a spare in the trunk along with a complete set of fan belts so I never get stranded on the Prairie. I had to replace the rotor this year and also replaced the plugs and plug wires. It is beautiful when the spark plug gaps are correct and the motor purrs.

Put the car away for the winter. Topped up the antifreeze to -35, filled her full of Premium Gas, filled the tires to 45lbs and put two packs of mothballs in trunk and interior. It was a crappy year over here with all the forest fires and never got to enjoy her this summer like I would have. A lot of British Columbia sadly burned, but I saved my car. First time, I am happy to see frost on the ground.

I bought some tools yesterday. Tools to take the Harrison A6 compressor apart and reseal it. Also make it look a little tidier. You know, I don't like dirty things on my clean engine. I also ordered a new cylinder head for the compressor, as they only cost about €5 from Jaguar as a new part. So I'm happy with that.
I am dieing to see how the A6 looks inside... I have watched some videos of how to take them apart and how to reassemble them, and it isn't anything weird... Quite a unique piece of (heavy) kit. Mine doesn't rattle nor does anything grind BUT the compressor doesn't pump 'regular', seems like, when hand spun, one of the 3 double pistons on the tumble disc isn't compressing...

This is interesting ! Mine needs some love as well, and as I have this car as a hobby I might as well just try to rebuiild mine.
Charge has become too low now for it to activate this this season, and I suspect it to be leaking at the axle sealing as it is making a spray of liquid/oil from the compressor clutch area.
Do you make a description of what you have been through, or have you found a good description online ?

Hi Chris
I think we'll need more than 'The Jaguar Gods' to sort this one out, just look at what She may have landed on.
The Front Wheel just dropped down a One Foot Deep Hole!
A pictures worth a Thousand Words, if She landed on that 'Big Blue Sticky Uppy Thingy' then I don't think the damage will 'Buff out'
