Default Wheel lug nuts for spoke rims

HAVE AN 84 XJS having trouble finding lug nuts for the spoke rims. They are 1 1/4 inch. long.
Also the front and rear wheel studs are different--is that correct.
Thanks for any help.

I'm doing some guessing here since I have an 87. My wheel studs are all the same. They are 1/2" X 20 thread. If you have Dayton Wire Wheels you might check these out to see if they are the ones you need.

I don't have wire wheels but I know that the Jaguar XJS has 1/2 X 20 studs. You can identify your lug nut from one of the old ones to see if it is a conical seat, standard or bulge. For my alloy wheels it requires the 60 degree conical seat, bulge type. Mine are open ended. For your wires, you will need to determine if the seat is a standard conical or bulge conical. The length is determined by what is required to cover the stud since yours are closed ended. Once you determine the seat and the length you need, any style can be used from any manufacturer. Here is a little more reference material that might help make this all clearer. Compare your old one to the charts to determine the seat.
