1995 XJS AJ16 - Have a whistling noise coming from the engine, I traced it down to the smog pump using a piece of garden hose (great tip from this forum). I have some options: Remove it, ignore it, replace it. After start up when it's cold the whistling goes away after a few minutes, when warm it goes away in a minute or so. Comments, ideas, recommendations. Much thanks.
