Actually, they are quite rare when you consider that less than 116,000 XJSs were produced over a 21 year span. Chevy produced more than twice that many Camaros in 1969 alone (243,085 according to Camaro-Registry.com).

 

Whitewalls... Yuk! Only in the '70s. I would vote NO to white letters, until this last pic...

White letters on the otherwise plain alloy lattices really dresses them up!! Especially in this sporty signal red over black combo. I like!

 

My XJS came with Bridgestone SF340 EAGER tyres and they look great. Unfortunately the tyres are no longer available so when they wear out I'll loose the look. I could get TA's or Mickey Thompson's but they have a lower speed rating (lower than the XJS's maximum speed).
