Windshield question

Does anyone know if the windshield from my 89 convertible is the same as my 86 coupe?

The same windshield is used on the '86 and '89 coupe but the convertible uses a different windshield.

When I get to the shop tonight I can measure a coupe and convertible and let you know the difference.

Bc xj,

I also understand that a Convertible uses thinner glass for the windscreen.
