Is there a way to adjust the windshield wipers so that they sit lower on the windshield?

The rod that the wiper arm is bolted to is splined. If the wipers are returning to the "park" position, then you can simply take the nut off of the center, locate the wiper where you want it to be, and put the nut back on. It is a very fine spline, so it allows for a very minute adjustment.

 

idk mine is in the way and my wiper touches the a-pillar a little when parked, so i've just gotten used to it. really though, look at where it is. It looks like its in the way because you see it, but if you look at what its "blocking off" its only the hood, which is why i guess jaguar didn't care. The visibility is fantastic in the XJS compared to modern slippery cars where the hood completely disappears after the windshield.
