Default Wire wheels

A nice addition or sacrilege ?
Howsabout wires and leaper....or, and white letter tyres ?

Although l like the wires, the main reason was difficulty in finding 15" tires and these 16" came up for a good price on Flebay. (That's my excuse and l'm sticking to it....)

Don't forget to paste a Leaper on it too while you're at it!

I like the look of the wires on mine, but I also have a set of the original "Starfish" rims if I change my mind. With the chrome fender flares, I think the wires fit perfectly.

Finding tires is a pain..

NO LEAPER! lol

Wire rims are classy on an XJS IMO. However, white letters might cross the fine line of classy into what Brits on another site refer to as "Chav".

Why? 225/60r15s are pretty readily available. Falken ziex912s are only like $80 a piece

Wire Wheels look nice, but white lettering says "muscle car" look to me. Dunno about white walls though. Anybody got a decent pic of an XJS rocking white walls?

There is a difference too between white wall and white line tyres too I think.

Being an ex leaper person, I would definitely say Growler all the way. As pointed out to me, the leaper seems to detract from the nice sweeping hood.
