The main character (Matthew Goode) drives a BRG facelift convertible (just like mine) it's rare to see an XJS in film. I haven't been able to even find sales ads for it in you tube. Here are stills from the movie:

Driving around in an XJS with the top down and nobody is smiling???? I'm pretty sure Hollywood just doesn't get it.

And yeah, it's a creepy movie. Bit disappointing overall though, I expect more from Kidman. Admittedly she didn't have much to work with in this role.

Hmm.,,,it's always cool, mysterious characters with multiple personality issues and a murderous streak driving Jaguars in fiction:

Kim Novak as Madeleine drives a Mark VIII in "Vertigo"
Kevin Spacey as Keyser Soze drives an XJ in "The Usual Suspects"
Hanibal Lecter drives an XJ in the Silence of Lambs book, I think.

Me!!! Back when I was in high school(just graduated this June) at lunch and open periods a group of my female friends would want me to take them to McDonalds or any other fast food place we wanted that day. I think that the girls were flattered to go places with me because is I drove a Jaguar and it was a unique car. I don't think really cared or knew it was an XJS. When they gossip about me to their friends they be like "he drives a Jaguar." like its a new Jaguar or something.

Very interesting when I have a 3 girls in the car with the top down and we are at a stoplight and people are staring at us.
