Okay, what I'm looking for is a cover that goes over the top when it's up, sort of a mini-car cover, but covering only the top. At last week's National AH meet I saw a couple of dozen cars with these min-covers, but no one I spoke to could tell me who makes them. Covercraft, out in California, makes a similar item for pickup trucks called a Cab Cooler, but doesn't offer one for cars... any leads?

 

Is it a fabric cover to cover only the canvas convert top? I think a picture would be worth 1000 words here, I'm having a tough time visualizing it. And is it's function just to protect the conv. Top?

Don't think I've ever seen anything like that, sorry I can't help you, but I am curious now.

 

I bought one in the UK a few (WOW..14 !!!) years ago. It looks like a whole car cover, but is smaller......it only goes down to the bottom of the windows.
Keeps the inside cooler and the roof from sun damage.

I bought one. However, I wasn't too impressed with the fit so I returned mine.

The covers that do look good seem to be these ones, but they don't seem to do them for an xjs:

Perhaps they could be persuaded? I'd probably buy one!
