XJS Fuel injection control module issues
Hello, I've got a 1994 XJS 2+2 with the 6.0L V12. My fuel injection control module (right side of trunk above wheel) has gone out. I've heard that some modules on vehicles that use OBD1 do not need to be programmed, is this true? And if so, is the fuel injection control module on my 1994 XJS one of the modules that does not need vehicle specific programming? If not, where might I be able to have the module programmed? None of the Jaguar dealerships I've called can do anything on any Jaguar older than 2005.
Thank you.
Thank you.
If I recall correctly, the injection control module is 'programmed' by the Main ECU.
When I replaced mine with a used one it did not require anything.
I don't believe there would be many on the new or used market.
Get a schematic and see if you can fix yours.

Brilliant, I found a used one on ebay but I wanted to hold off on buying it until i actaully had a plan. Thank you.
