Default XJS Power Steering Vibration

I'm getting a vibration back through the steering wheel that feels a lot like a drive shaft or axle U-Joint going bad. Vibration is not continuous.

Pump has the correct amount of Dextron III in it.

Any ideas? If a bearing were going bad, wouldn't the Garlock seal be leaking due to radial play in the bearing?

Default Vibration

Mike,
Have you checked the front wheel bearings? Another probability are worn front stub axles. Also a wheel out of balance. Steering rack bushings?

Default Was the Wheel Bearings

It was the wheel bearings. Right side had about .011 play. Left side was within limits at .003.

Photos show spalling of rollers and the conical races. Left side inner bearing had no indication of damage, but I replaced it anyway. After replacing bearings, vibration was gone.
