Boge are the OEM brand. Quite reasonably priced and will give OEM ride and handling.

Did you use the factory springs? I'm trying to figure out what parts besides the 4 small bushings for the top holes to keep when i take then to the shop to get the spring off.

I recently replaced the rear springs and shocks with Boges that I bought from Welsh Enterprises.

The old assembly had spacers at the bottom of the spring where it engages the shock (circled in red below).

On the new shocks, the indent that traps the ring that holds the spring in place looked like it was higher up on the shock (circled in yellow). So I assembled the unit without the spacers and confirmed that the length of the spring “at rest” in the shock was the same as with the originals.

Note that there are spacers in the top mount of the shocks where they attach to the cage that are not included in the kit from Welsh. So I re-used these off the old shocks.

Hope this helps.

well different shocks but kinda an idea still ill take some measurements of the old ones at rest as well. I mocked up the new ones with the included hardware and its pretty damn close. But the old ones are still under pressure. I'm suprised
I can't find anything about the install of these kyb shocks. People have installed them but don't mention if any of the old hardware is used except for the small insert that goes in the top eye
