Just a dumb question but I'm asking anyway. Can I insert a temp sensor (for a fan) through the top of one of my Tebfa filters as an alternative to tapping the block or other options? Will that even work? Hey, I said it was a dumb questions.

Of course you can, anything is possible.

I would look at alternatives instead if it were mine, and I am assuming it is a 6ltr V12.

Look around here, daviescraig.com.au. Much better alternatives in my opinion.

I have used the radiator fin style on numerous occasions, without issues. I am not a big fan of the "under hose" style.
