I did a little modification to my transmission kickdown switch and I am pretty happy with the results. Instead of the switch not activating until after you reach wide open throttle, it now activated at about 3/4 throttle. I am pretty happy with the results. All I had to do was to move the switch from the bottom of the plate on the throttle cable, to the top of the plate, drill 2 new holes, and adjust the switch, and mounting plate to contact the throttle rod.
I am also running this vacuum modulator, which is a little more performance oriented. Shifts are a little hard when cold but quite nice when warmed up a little bit.
