Wow, that's too bad.
Either her serger died, or she got a few "Cease and Desist" letters from company lawyers. I suspect lawyers did her in for not paying royalties on the logos... I have seen this with a lot of small business embroidery shops.
If you wanted text such as "XKR", or "Jaguar" I would think she could do it as long as she is not using Jags copyrighted font....
