A quick question if I may.
By saying the instructions are idiot proof would you include someone whose electrical knowledge above changing a domestic plug assembly is good enough to follow your instructions.
I'm asking because I have just purchased aXKR Convertible and would like to get this mod on the car. Also anyone know if it invalidates the electrical part of a Jaguar warranty?

Electrical knowledge is not necessary. You need to own and be comfortable with a few basic hand tools listed in the instructions. The instructions can be downloaded from this page for your review: Installation - TheJagWrangler. The key to success is to carefully follow them and email me if you have a problem.
As for warranty, in the US there is law that prevents dealers or manufacturers from denying auto warranties due to aftermarket installations, unless the aftermarket equipment is causing the problem. I am not sure if there is the equivalent in the UK. I personally have not heard of anyone having warranty problems.
