Ooh yes please! I changed my Blue XK8 for an all black XK last September and it's superb. The finger on the ceiling is a bit of a bore though.

In this thread we learn that many Jaguar owners are adept at making money, but terrible at reading comprehension. Best laugh I've had in days reading this thread and counting the number of red, bolded "NOT ELIGIBLE" responses from the mods. At this point, I'm awaiting the holy grail of contest entrants: the guy with the coupe.

 

Frustrating to say the least

 

Can you explain, I tried to enter the contest and my entry was disqualified saying I have a X100 series as opposed to the X150 series? What does this mean and how do you know by just the photo?

 

Hi Joanie-
Jaguar has code names for their vehicles. The X100 (XK8 and XKR) was the convertible and coupe with a steel body in production from 1996 to 2006. The X150 (XK and XKR) was an aluminum alloy body convertible and coupe that was in production from 2006 to 2014. They are very different cars.

In the US, the X150 was not introduced until the 2007 model year. Your photo clearly is of a 2006 X100.

Look at some of the other other entrant's photos of the X150 and you will see it has very different styling cues.

The convertible top systems are completely different between these cars, that is why there are separate products for each.
