It’s the battery, stupid!
Update time.
Since installing my new battery (and doing nothing else) I have had my nav screen go blank with zero input available until sometime later on. Maybe 5 seconds maybe 5 minutes. My TPMS system varies from selecting each tire is low to not showing any 'low' pressure for several tanks full of driving. Now I am getting the entire TPMS system has a failure. I hooked up my scanner and it read each tire pressure, the voltage to each and showed no faults within that category.
The morning start up voltage typically reads 12.5v, running voltage 13.9~14.0. If I have the ctek on it the startup voltage voltage is 12.5~12.6 but the above hiccups still occur. Colder temperatures or warmer I see no correlation.
What thoughts oh ye, Jaguar aficionados?

All of these symptoms are unrelated and typically a symptom of a poor electrical system, in some way.
That 12.5 reading…. is that the result of sitting on a maintainer all night? Is the battery behaving appropriately?
A couple of ideas….
- the battery is toast or inappropriately sized.
-The charging voltages seem accurate. Of course “power” = voltage X current… is there a generator issue?
-Have you attached an always on accessory?
If there are fault messages, that would be helpful… Codes?!

Trying to make this more clear. I installed the new battery and immediately started having these issues. Nothing else was done, remove positive and negative cables, remove old battery, install new battery, attach positive and negative cables. Then these things started happening. Coincidence? naw I'm certain it is voltage/logic related.
12.5 without tender, 12.5~12
6 with tender at startup...I think that should rule out a battery issue.
I didn't go deep into checking codes but did check the tpms status and there were no codes/faults either present, pending, nor historical.

OK so you're convinced it isn't the battery but it is possible a battery surge on install turned the evil TPMS against you. Consider working the TPMS problem as a stand alone and at least eliminate the possibility of coincidence.
Also what is the voltage while at idle (at the battery)

Shawn, thanks I now have something to do over thanksgiving holidays. Just measured bat voltage @ idle at the bat...14.2~14.3
Oh yeh, the screen was fine today and tps only popped up once, mid trip.

OK so just .1 below borderline @12.5 pre-start but getting a correct charge so agree with you it's not the battery - probably:-) If the sending units in the tires are 7 years old or older, this can happen. There is also a know wear point on the harness that'll make them go wacky. Don't recall where it is exactly but it's been covered on this forum. Front right where it bends along the frame I think? Just spitballing because a worn harness is not likely addressed in the troubleshooting guide. Well you'd get there with voltage checks but you know what I mean. Best of luck
Just so you know, my TPMS started doing weird things like that. Then it got worse. Three years ago I flashed everything flashable and replaced every replaceable part. It's still a System Fail 100% of the time. I've been meaning to disable TPMS with SDD, just haven't hooked it up yet.
