There's no sense in postulating until the poll creator actually provides further information. They could be $600 apiece or $6000 apiece though he's indicated they would be less than $3K and cost effective.

There are Adaptive and non-Active headlights. Both are expensive, but discounts are available. Add shipping and sales tax.

The pricing is one reason I just fixed my left adaptive headlight (wiring insulation degraded and chipped off), polished both and then sprayed with UV clear (2K). I'm out maybe a dollar in new wires, some cents in solder, maybe $5 in sandpaper and polishing compounds and $20 for a can of 2k uv clear.

If someone did a full adaptive or non-adaptive headlight pair for less than Jaguar, they could possibly even become a vendor that some parts vendors resell; offering your aftermarket part. Make the "upgrade" aspect optional, so they could buy an aftermarket replacement in addition to the style change model.

Here's the 2017 ALC thread started by steve_k_xk. It includes the evolution of the XK tail light design.

Having done similar headlight modification with gloss black interior, I found that dust which enters the housing makes for a rather unsightly mess over time on the inside of the lens. How would you mitigate that?

Its simply something I designed and David Grantley built for me. I hated the headlights and think this actually works bloody brilliantly. I have no interest in selling headlights but if anyone wanted to use the design I would be more than happy for David to build a set for them using a the design we developed together. As for Dust Alf my 2 year old son currently has a obsession for Henry the hoover and every time I floor it (Larini Exhaust) he laughs his head off which is good enough for me.

Off topic, I assume you’ve fitted his X100 bonnet vents? Could you share how you went about this as I’m after something similar. Perhaps in another thread so as not to derail this one.

See if that is something we could utilize I would be open for Grantley to create a set for myself as all I want is a updated headlights not to get rich. So please let me know how can I get a set for myself?

I gathering power would be piggy back off the original harness then fed through the plastic bracket , then a halo bevel light would be mount to the original plastic headlight bracket

I'm more than happy for David to make them for other people although he may shudder at the thought of it as mine were not easy, drop him a line at Grantley Design. He was brilliant at doing the work on my car.

Have a look at this thread, you can see what I did at post 37. Eventually I went back to stock with a set of brand new assemblies.
