I recently developed an issue with my convertible top on my 2007 XK Convertible. If I go to close the convertible top, it can get to the position where the last movement of the top is to marry the top to the front pillar and latch, but it stops there sometimes. With opening the top, I go to open the top, all 4 of the windows will open, but then it'll stop at unlatching the top from the windshield pillar almost every time now I try to open the convertible top. If I manually open the top with the allen key, it will recommence the automated opening of the top fully to completion.

Naturally I do have codes under the Folding Top Control Module B1076-31 and B1077-31 "Front latch open sensor" and "Front latch close sensor" as intermittent codes. Just curious if anyone has had similar issues and if so, how they resolved them. I recognize it could be the sensor. But just curious if it could be anything else before I go replacing the front latch sensor. Thanks in advance
