Default 07 XKR front end weakness

hi all,,
is it only my 07 XKR,, or XKR is known with front suspension issues just like it was made of chopsticks?

the front end doesn't feel positive although it doesn't clunk,, checked all bushings,, checked struts and shocks for leakage,, all seem in good shape,,

i sometimes hear a single clunk in dashboard while turning on low speeds,, and the car generally feels a bit floaty on high speeds over uneven road surfaces,,

please,, help,,

Having never had my XK over 130, there is no "float" to my car, and I would not tolerate it.
I have not heard of common XK suspension failures, but we also have to remember we are now driving 7 year old cars, so things are bound to wear. If you're in a southern climate, bushings can dry out and fail on any car... best to have them looked at first.

My XKR and my X350 both felt floaty compared to, say, the German competition that always feel very planted by comparison. Not to say that it feels uncontrollable--just different.

If you try unplugging Fuse 14 in the driver's footwell fusebox, you can disable the CATS system, which gets rid of the float for me. However, it makes the ride very stiff and more jarring over rough roads.
