07 XKR Newer Convertible top cover failing
So I've only has this Jag for 7 weeks. I bought it from a private seller an one of the things he claimed was the top was replaced like a year or 2 ago. The back lower part of it where it seals down the the car is starting the break apart at what looks to be plastic. It's at a very high tension spot so just using any adhesives to try to fix seems like it would be impossible to hold. Has anyone experienced this with their Jag or any other Convertible Car? I'm just looking for any info on if it's something that can be reapaired or needs to be completely replaced again. Thank you in advance for any replies

Although this thread is from the F-Type Forum, I suspect that the convertible tops are similar in construction. See Post #5 for WhiteXKR's advice. That's Steve, the Jag Wrangler, the Forum's expert on all things about the convertible top and inventor of the Remote Control Soft Top control module.
