I have a 2008 XK [4.2L] that has an error code P2431. Car runs normally but the check engine light is driving me crazy. Will replacing the MAP Sensor resolve or am I looking at a secondary Air Pump [or more]replacement]. Car has less than 60k miles and is a weekend cruiser - sits most of the time.

The X150 uses extended (4 + 2) DTC codes but there is only one for P243100:




Provided your code reader is compatible and there are no other associated codes, it is a leak, the injection pump or the injection valve.
