Default 13MY start/stop button in Black & White

Been searching around for a Black & White start button mine cracked its center part and is in pieces.
The electronic switch still works and I found an aftermarket stick on cover that allows it to work okay (as long as it stays in place, since it id just a stick on disc.).
Has anyone any solution for a new one? All the the replacement ones seem to be "red and white" in color, doesn't look to appealing to me and I'm trying to locate the Black & White original one.
Seem like they made a change to the red/white due to a safety concern
The current part number is C2P15331 and replaces part numbers C2P11372, C2P15040,& C2P2308, I haven't been able to locate anything in the black and white scheme.

Would any know of other aftermarket sources of a button in the black & white color.

I see plenty on ebay, like this one:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/22668644000...l52Df274&gQT=2

But why not add this? In Red or Black and White.

There is a detailed step-by-step for replacement that someone did like a week ago.
Use the forum search for "Start Button".

It does look very similar but According to those EBAY sites:
Compatible with:

for Jaguar for XJ for XJL for XJR 2014-2019 not reference XK150 range.

I checked a couple other Jaguar Parts sites and they indicate this part # is not compatible with the 13XK.

Might you have some other insight that says it will work in the XK also.
I will probable ask the Ebay supplier also.
The price isn't very high so it may be worth the try.
I had it apart once and from my recall it looks similar
Appreciate the help.

If you have a 10+ car, most of the buttons you see for sale on eBay WILL NOT WORK. The refresh changed the gear selector module and the button design, so 2007-15 red/white and 09-10 black/white buttons sold as a separate unique part numbers on eBay and other retailers cannot be modified or swapped to fit.

I believe that the red button was sold on early 07-09 cars, the black standalone button isn't even for an X150 (probably mislabeled XJ part) and the black integrated button is on later cars 10-15.

I'm fairly certain those years are correct... I'm not sure if the button design changed in 10 or 12. Either way, the Jaguar parts compatibility for model years is incorrect on most dealership pages.

The 10-15 vehicles have the start button integrated into the gear selector module and is not sold as a replacement part. You either need to buy the entire module, or patiently wait for a parts breaker to sell one they salvaged from a bad module.

No idea why there's so much bad information on this button, but you tell me... How does this button:

Or this button:

I saved my old button, if anyone is interested. Make an offer.

You'll be able to see where it was cracked when it illuminates, but someone might be able to get creative with black paint on the inside perimeter to block light from coming through the cracks.

It could also be a candidate for taking measurements to 3D print a replacement button. Some time smoothing an ABS print with acetone, filler primer, sanding, and a Stop/Start sticker would make a passable reproduction. It wouldn't illuminate, but maybe that's not a big deal to everyone.

I have a feeling that printing in white, using a Cricut to create the START ENGINE STOP lettering to mask off, and painting black matte could be a method to have illumination working. It would require some meticulous work, though. A job for model makers and precision hobbyists.

Porsche guys do similar things for window buttons and labels, so it's definitely possible.

If someone wanted to take on that initiative, I will send them the button for the cost of shipping it, with the understanding that they would create the CAD model for DIY printing.

Default Start button work around

As of right now using this metal/rhinestone button with double stick tape, really durable and relatively decent looking. Have been using it for a couple years now since I never could find a replacement. Works great but gets surprisingly hot if parked in sunlight.
From Amazon, LECART BLING PUSHBUTTON I took a chance on the size and it fitted up pretty good. Its solid metal so you won't see the light.
So it looks like I'll be sticking with this for a while unless I get lucky to fine a used one and at that it would only be time before would crack up.
Metal/Rhinestone button stick on. perfect fit
