Default 2006 XK Convertible - rear passenger footwell leak

Morning - any one else had this ? I know there is a known issue with the front passenger footwell due to the aircon drain but my issue is just the rear. Carpet is absolutely sodden, everything else bone dry I was thinking door/window seal ?

Any thoughts much appreciated

Welcome to the forums MrWolf,

This is definitely one of the first aluminium bodied X150's and not one of the last steel bodied X100's?

In either case, I'd agree with your first thoughts of door/window seal as the likely culprit. Checking from inside the vehicle whilst an assistant plays a garden hose over the exterior often helps trace a source of ingress.

Please read the guidance for new members ( https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/n...ned-up-241802/ ) which answers many of the most frequent questions about getting started.

Enjoy the forums.

Hi Graham - many thanks for posting, yes its an XK150. Have done some more digging and it does look like a dodgy door seal !

The price is a bit of a frightener but at least they are available.
