Is it common for the rear suspension to squeak? Even the smallest of bumps it squeaks. My car was a flood so I'm not sure if the water had an effect on it.

 

No squeaks at all from my suspension.

 

A couple of months ago I had a squeak fixed. It was a broken guide for the emergency brake cable. The squeak went away in the rain as the water would provide lubrication and prevent the squeak.

The dealer took care of it for me, though it took three tries.

 

We noticed a squeak coming form the rear of the car when turning the car off, apparently this causes a slight movement in the drive train which is causing something to rub and it is setting off a short loud squeak that's its definitely coming form the rear of the car; could be a loose heat shield or maybe the e-brake cable that was mentioned above. My squeak intermittent snd occurs every third turn off. If I were only able to crawl under the car like I used to I'd find this in a minute. Adding this to the list of things to be repaired.
