Hi folks, had my parts car vandalized, and someone tried to CUT OUT my fuel pump / sender assembly.

I can fix the physical damage, but I am leery of buttoning all of this back up, without testing the pump / level sensors. Is there any reasonable bench test? - I have meters, power supplies, everything short of an oscilloscope ...

 

The workshop manual has a long section about it: "PINPOINT TEST G830073p3 : FUEL LEVEL SENDER(S) CIRCUIT RANGE/PERFORMANCE". It's too long to post it as images here; PM me and I'll send it to you.
