Default 2007 XK A-Pillar removal- any tips?

I just noticed my passenger interior pillar alongside the windshield is not seated correctly at the bottom so I am going to remove and replace.

Is removing it a simple matter of careful prying? Any tips where to start or direction to pull (more top to bottom, "be careful to...", "angle toward the center of car a bit" etc..)?

Thanks, Jac

The bottom of my A-pillar cover on the passenger side was not placed correctly and I could see a gap between it and the dashboard. To remove I slid my fingers under the weather strip at top and wedged them under the piece I was removing and gently pulled directionally toward the gap between the two seats. It might have been loose but it popped right off. You can see in the second pic there is an alignment post at the top, a set of clips at the top and a set of clips down about 6" or so from the top set. The bottom of it has no clips: it just seats into a slot at the bottom of the dash. the third pic is just what it looks like under there if anyone cares!
