Default 2007 XK Vibration

My low mileage '07 XK has a slight vibration when tach is at 1250 RPM. Occurs only when car is in gear, but at any speed. Any idea as to what the cause might be? Tranny? Drive shaft? ??

Does it vibrate when stationary? If so, motor mount/tranny mount. In gear, and in motion vibration, I would suggest u-joint or tires.

Do you feel the vibration through the seat more , or the steering wheel?

You sure it's not the slow speed exhaust resonance that XK's are known for?
Some dealers will add a strap to the Cats; me , just downshift or ignore............don't even notice it anymore!

Hope this helps, Adrian

Default XK vibration at 1250 RPM

Thanks for your thoughts, guys

Slight Vibration mainly thru the accelerator and a bit thru steering wheel

No vibration when parked and engine running
No vibration when driving/coasting in neutral
Vibration only when in gear at 1250 RPM, at 20mph or 50 mph

My main concern - Is it a harmless bug? or is it something that might cause problems if not corrected? Have gotten some feedback that it is not uncommon with 2006 - 2007 XK's?

Dealer has not given me a specific idea of what is causing it - wants to get it up and check it out - but did mention something about it being an issue on 2007's. But I don't want to spend alot of money fixing something which is not a critical issue.

Appreciate any additional thoughts!

As mentioned by others, it sounds like you have the issue detailed in the attached TSB.
