Hi,
Kinda long story.......purchase Jag last January, found during state inspection was a "cracked rear rim" (Cremona) and an indicator light out. Purchased new set of tires and wheels (Braelins (1010tires.com,- Fastco). Complained to seller, was reimbursed $1700 for wheels. I had the original Cremonas refurbished for $625. This is how I have a backup set of wheels and tires.
The Braelins (left pic) were $1685 shipped to door. Right pic is cracked rear edge of Cremona. Braelins (bright silver finish) on the road.
I thank richzak for the lead in finding the Braelins.
Happy Trails today.....

Default 08 Portfolio

Hi from Livonia Michigan. I have a few mods including the engine cover, the dead pedal, remote top control and Puddle lights. There were 255 shipped to the US all presold. I am not sure how many were convertibles? Love the car but it has been a rainy summer in Michigan.

I believe I read somewhere there were only 138 2008 model XKR Portfolio convertibles shipped to the US.

The spare is a donut - a compact space saver temporary use spare from the 2011-up XJ SuperSport that is much narrower than the normal F/R tires but nevertheless fits on the front without any mods and on the rear with a spacer to clear the Alcon brakes. It fits in the trunk. I'm writing this from my smartphone and am unable to provide the link to the thread I started - search this forum for "spare tire Alcon brakes". I'll post that link when I get to my PC.

No need for me to post the link - LstFord did it in the next post. Thanks!

Yes with Stuart's and Rich's help I was able to locate the 19" spare, Jack set and rear wheel spacer. The spacer has to be special ordered from a fabricator.

Hi,
Apologies for the late reply...just read your post. No, not a rider for Diabetes.
Was my favorite BB gun as a kid and still have one.

Default 2013 XKR Portfolio Special Edition

Hi

Any reason you restrict this to 2008 MY?

My 2013 XKR convertible is celestial black on navy with tan stitching? The Special Edition model included all the Portfolio Edition features, plus the Performance Active Exhaust and Bosch ECU from the XKRS.

I had it tweaked with the RICA stage 2 mods and it now produces 634HP
