2008 Portfolio - where's my adaptive cruise control?

Just took delivery of a slightly used 2008 portfolio convertible...and the one disappointment I have is that it doesn't seem to have ACC and I thought that was part of the portfolio package? Am I missing something? Is it there and I just can't find it? Is it not a standard option?

I don't think it was standard on the portfolio, If you have two
control wheels on he right side of the steering wheel you have it,
if there is only one then you only have the regular cruise control.
And by the way congratulations on the purchase your going to love it[/align]

Yea it is still an option even on the Portfolio's. I just bought (going to pick it up tomorrow) a 2009 XKR Portfolio and the adaptive cruise control was still optional, which i was kinda irked about since after all if you are buying a limited edition car and the nicest car Jaguar makes why not put everything on it standard. Oh well i figured i could live without it and did not get it.

I love the ACC in my 2007 XK. (after many repair attempts at getting it to workcorrectly). The trouble is when I use cruise control on my other vehicles I am right up the **** of slower vehicles ahead since I wait for the non existent ACC to kick in
i personally prefer them without adaptive cruise, on every car ive driven they seem to be too sensitive to interference
