2008 xk nav monitor
Has anyone experienced during cold ambient temps the navigation monitor goes dark? Never seems to do it for more than few hours.....any recalls or tech fixes for this?

However, the 'cold temp' may be a contributing factor, rather than a cause !
Weird Nav Display stuff is the usually a symptom of low battery voltage on these cars, and batteries deliver even less power at low temperatures...
Use the 'Search' option to find multiple threads on 'battery'
So, I would get your battery tested/checked first, before throwing time and money at the Nav System and software.
