I went to see and try the car.
it is in really good shape; they repainted the bumper that was scratched. It is fast and it drives well.
The only iusse is the driver's seat recliner does not come up all the way I would like it to be. The passenger seat recliner does not come up at all, only goes down. So right now the passenger seats is like a bed... Electric seat Motor problem? How much discount should I ask for to have a third-party Jaguar mechanic fix it?

I think you may be getting ahead of yourself.
If you are very interested in it, have a Jaguar indie shop do a PPI (Pre-Purchase Inspection).
It will most likely reveal additional things that need to be addressed for more negotiating power.

I did a PPI and it uncovered several big ticket items like mounts and suspension items that I didn’t know about prior to cutting a check.
Have a Post purchase inspection tomorrow with a Jag only shop. Will be the best $200 I’ve spent so far.

The seat issue is common and usually a simple matter to reprogram.
Frankly, if I saw an '09 xkr for 10K, I'd get it, expecting to put at least another 7.5K into it.
Given the age:
Bushings, all filters, all fluids, brakes, rubber, coolant hoses, plugs, pcv, ...
Alignment,...
Once mechanical is confirmed, then the "pretty stuff", paint, interior, wheels, engine compartment, ...

I'd assume they cleared all codes before you saw it... so take it for a good drive and read the codes afterwards.

Best of luck!
Cheers

If a Jaguar isn't BRG, it's been repainted.

So here is the thing, the car price is low and went down to 11500 because the seat control module needs to be replaced.
It seems impossible to get one of them anywhere... Do you have any suggestion, or help in finding any resource to look after it?
thanks a lot
