Default 2008 XKR Jaguar Leaper Center console reboot

Jaguar forum post

Hello all,

I have a convertible 2008 Jaguar XKR Portfolio editionDoes anyone know what all modules there are that are involved with the center screen radio control switch? I have replaced the BT module as well as the Communication Multi media control module. But i am still experiencing the constant rebooting and the Jaguar Leaper showing then shutting down. I have acquired a fiber optic loop and bypassed the DVD-Serius Sat module and the BT module but can still see the light blinking in the same fashion as the leaper does on the screen. Is there another module in this loop i am missing? I have heard there is another module under the passenger seat but nothing certain. And i am having a hard time believing that Jaguar would place an electrical module on the floor board of a convertible with the inherit risk of water damage. Any help is appreciated.

You're thinking of the X250. There's no fiber optics under the seats in the X150. We have the center stack which is behind your touchscreen/control panel, the trunk stack and an amp if you have premium sound. sorry for the quality in the attachment. Download the wiring diagram and you will see the page.
