Hi does any one know if the AFS module is interchangeable between years? I have a 2008 XKR and need to replace it but can't find one from the same year. Old posts I've read have asked this question but I wasn't able to find an answer. Appreciate the help.

Yes they are, left for left, right for right though, can't swap sides.

 

There is only one AFS module in the car so can you clarify what you mean? This is different from the AFS power modules that attach to the back of each headlight. Thanks.

 

2007 2008 2009 will be the same, the 2010 facelift made some changes to the canbus which affect some modules but not all modules. I assume you mean the AFS ECU then, this's the part number you need

One place says for 2007 through 2009 another says for 2007 through 2015

 

2012+ has a different module (but you will notice that a plug has a different shape). But beforehand- should be the same. But not sure if you can have a used one (with a stored VIN number).
