Default 2008 XKR Portfolio: Track day after upgrades

So headed to the strip today to see if any difference after the pulley and intercooler pump upgrade....and boy! Was there a difference!

So previous best was 13.02 @ 109mph I think. The new time and my best today was 12.73 @ 108.9 mph

I ran while in Sport and manual shifting as well as in Sport and letting the car do the shifting, difference in ET was only 0.03 of a sec and maybe 0.5 mph. Car was consistent as well. Posted timeslip, I am Right Lane. Was racing Mustang GT.

Have a video I will upload later as well.

Thanks! And It did indeed! Can feel the difference with the pulley and the way it feels. Very happy, but might pursue making it just a bit quicker.

So my original goal was to break into 12s, which yay for that. However, a buddy of mine with a 347c.i Fox Body on spray says he runs mid 12s, so new goal is to get to 12.4 or 12.5s 😁

i confess i almost bought one of those instead of the XK. excellent bargain for the power you get, i think mainly because the KIA name is not trusted despite how they've turned their company and brand around. the only trouble is that it's so ugly i couldn't bear to look at it every day.

Very good time, but your trap speed is the same which totaly makes sense because your ECU will limit the max power. When I dynoed my car with the pulley there was pretty much no difference. But after the proper ECU tune huge gains!
Pm me we can get your car opened up for more power!
