Have you reached out to Tom Lenthal or perhaps Steve @ Cotswold? These were limited production cars now over 10 years old and reckon parts are going to be scarce.

Note that the 4.2L 2008 XKR-S was not available in the North American market. It was similar to the 4.2L XKR Portfolio models available here.

You have specifically mentioned springs and shocks. They are the same as in later models of XKRS, XFRS etc. Yellow Bilstein shocks. Not a problem to buy them.

The biggest challenge will be with a rear bumper - a diffuser on it. But in general - if you send enough time and money doable thing.

Actually I'm about to complete similar exercise.

Whilst 4.2 xkrs shocks are also yellow just like the 5.0 xkrs they run on a different module you'll get error codes and the shock will default to the hard setting (not pleasant)

The springs are also different due to the e diff on the 5.0

In terms of rear diffuser yes the 5.0 stuff will work
(oem three piece) or try Cotswold he's got one piece moulded variety well priced as well

Good catch - it's different vs 5.0! But I know someone who had yellow prelift shocks for sale in Poland (but don't know where are you - if US probably it would not work, due to huge shipping cost). I mean entire car - so modules can be taken too. In case you are interested let me know - can check upon availability and pass you a contact.

i'm going to view a xkr-s thats local to be but its done 128k, i'm just doing a little home work before I consider the purchase. Basically if I do buy this car I'm I going to have problems getting parts.

I've found a good supplier for brakes, but its the shocks and springs that i needed details on. Anyone got a link to a EPC that will work on a Mac and also cover the 4-2 rs.

These are the ones for the 4.2 XKR-S according to the EPC:
C2P17992 - Front road spring
C2P17994 - Front shock
C2P17993 - Rear road spring
C2P17995 - Rear shock

Also you could reach out to Matt O'Hara @ Spires in Warwick, he was one of the original X150 suspension engineers.
